additional information – travel, accommodation and Brisbane 

exist-ence 5: Symposia Performance, the Body and Time in the 21st Century is the first official conference held by EXIST

Papers will be presented each day from Wednesday 10 am through to 6:30pm Thursday 27 June, 2013.
There will also be ample social opportunities such as coffee and lunch breaks so participants can find time to engage in discussions of research strategies, results, and applications.

Please be sure to select these social outings including Dinner and Finale when you Register for the conference.

The DINNER will be held on Wednesday 26 June 2013, with the FINALE and exist-ence 5 festival launch Thursday 27 June 2013 6:30pm

Brisbane is easy to reach by plane, train or car

By aeroplane:
Brisbane’s domestic and international center by trains leaving every 20 minutes between until 10pm daily.

By train:
Brisbane “City” is the city’s main station, however the closest station to the Venue is South BrisbaneTrains, buses and ferries are all linked and discounted fares are available upon purchasing a “go” card – ticket

By car:Brisbane is also accessible by car via the Riverside express way. During the rush hour, the inner city streets are relatively congested, so keep in mind that traveling might take longer than expected. Parking space close to the university is limited. There is secure car parking at South Bank and the Convention Centre just down the street from QCA. Please visit the South Bank website

Accommodation

There are a number of types of accommodation in and around South Bank.
The most convenient hotels to the conference venue are Mantra and RydgesFor those on a budget there is backpackers accommodation closeby at Brisbane Backpackers or Somewhere to Stay Backpackers.
